From Sacramento drive east on US Hwy. 50 - From Placerville drive west on US Hwy. 50

Take the Missouri Flat exit and go south to Hwy 49. Turn left onto Hwy 49 and drive through Diamond Springs. At the intersection of Hwy 49 & Pleasant valley road, continue forward onto Pleasant Valley Road. Follow Pleasant Valley Road to Bucks Bar Road.

There are two ways from the Bucks Bar Road intersection. (1) You can merge right onto Bucks Bar Rd. and follow it to Mt. Aukum Road. (Bucks Bar Rd. is a winding road with steep inclines), OR (2) you could continue on Pleasant Valley Rd. after stopping at the stop sign, eventually turning right onto Mt. Aukum Road. (The two different routes are highlighted for you on the printable map.)

Retiredice Alpacas is on the left side of the road if you are approaching from the Bucks Bar Rd. or Pleasant Valley Rd. direction. The entrance is before the Hidden Ranch Rd. intersection which will also be to your left.

If you are driving eastbound on Mt. Aukum Rd. from the Omo Ranch or the Mt. Aukum area, Retiredice Alpacas is your first entrance to the right after passing the Hidden Ranch Rd. intersection.
